Amino Acid Group

Eight amino acids, all real, all with genuine roles in the body, and all sharing a blend that weighs 200 mg alongside fourteen botanicals.

Where Amino Acid Group Comes From

Amino acids are the units proteins are built from. Nine of them count as essential: your body manufactures none of those, so meals have to. Others are produced internally but can still be supplemented.

You get them in grams, not milligrams, from ordinary protein: meat, fish, eggs, dairy, beans, lentils. One chicken breast supplies more of nearly all of them than a blend this size ever will.

One of twenty-three ingredients in every dropper

The Job It Does Here

Taking them one at a time, briefly and honestly.

L-glutamine

The most abundant amino acid in blood. Studied for gut-lining support and, at gram doses, for reducing sugar cravings in a few small trials.

L-tyrosine

A precursor to dopamine and noradrenaline, studied for cognitive performance under stress at doses well above a gram.

L-arginine

A precursor to nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels. The basis for its circulation claims.

Beta-alanine

Buffers acid in muscle during hard exercise. Well evidenced at several grams daily over weeks; the tingling it causes is harmless and dose-dependent.

L-ornithine

Part of the urea cycle, studied for fatigue and sleep quality with mixed results.

L-tryptophan

The precursor to serotonin and then melatonin, and the amino acid here most likely to interact with medication.

L-carnitine

Carries fatty acids into mitochondria to be burned, which is the basis for its fat-loss marketing and not supported at these amounts.

GABA

An inhibitory neurotransmitter. Whether oral GABA reaches the brain in any meaningful quantity is genuinely disputed.

They share the blend with Gymnema and Green Tea.

How Strong Is The Evidence?

Here is the sentence that matters more than the eight above.

Every one of these has research behind it, and almost all of that research used doses measured in grams. Beta-alanine trials use three to six grams daily. Glutamine craving studies use several grams. L-carnitine trials start around two grams. This blend weighs 200 mg in total, split across eight amino acids and fourteen botanicals.

The straight answer, then: these amino acids almost certainly are not reproducing their own research, because the quantities available cannot plausibly reach the studied range. That does not make the product worthless. It does mean you should not buy it for this list, and any page selling you on this list is relying on you skipping the arithmetic.

Amount, Timing And What Is Disclosed

Undisclosed, inside the shared 200 mg blend. If amino acid supplementation is what you actually want, single-ingredient powders at researched doses cost less and let you check what you are taking.

What this blend can reasonably contribute is a small addition to total intake. Modest, and it is the claim the label supports.

Who Should Check First

L-tryptophan is the one to flag. Anyone on an antidepressant working through serotonin should mention it to their prescriber, because adding serotonin precursors to serotonergic medication is a recognised caution.

Blood pressure can fall with L-arginine, and anyone prone to cold sores may find them worse. Kidney or liver disease means clearing amino acid supplements first, because both organs deal with the nitrogen they carry.

Two Things It Is Not

Not a protein supplement. Two hundred milligrams shared many ways is a rounding error beside any meal containing protein.

Not a fat burner, whatever L-carnitine marketing suggests. The transport role is real; the weight claim built on it is not supported at these amounts.

Not medical advice. Prescription medication, pregnancy, breastfeeding or a diagnosed condition all mean a word with a doctor or pharmacist before you start. The full interaction list lives on the safety checklist.

Amino Acid Group: Common Questions

What readers ask about this ingredient specifically.

Do the amino acids here do anything?

Probably very little on their own. Their research uses gram doses and this blend is 200 mg shared twenty-two ways. This list should not be what persuades you to buy.

Is oral GABA useful?

Genuinely disputed. Whether it crosses into the brain in meaningful amounts is still argued over, and the amount here is undisclosed.

Will beta-alanine make me tingle?

Not at these amounts. Tingling happens at the gram doses used in exercise research and is harmless when it does.

Should I buy amino acids separately instead?

Where that is genuinely the goal, then yes. Single-ingredient powders at researched doses cost less and let you check the amount.
